Higher State of Being

This will be a workshop in nature at beautiful Les Arends Forest Preserve along the Fox River in Batavia, IL, to learn about and experience our connection to nature.

We will do 4 different types of meditations – body scan aided with 432 hz pure tone frequency, walking barefoot meditation, grounding visualization meditation with breathwork, and a river/water meditation.

The starting meditation will silence the mind, giving us access to our built in body and soul awareness, then use the visualization and grounding meditations to feel and strengthen our connection with nature.

The workshop will consist of:
– Initial Introductory meetup
– Explanation of the method to quiet the mind and access the Meditative State
– Explanation of the electromagnetic energy of ourselves and nature – how it all connects
– Guided Body Scan Meditation to silence the mind turn on our “feeling” body awareness
– Walking Meditation
– Earthing/Grounding Meditation (aided with breathwork)
– River/Water meditation along the Fox River, to feel and release emotions, and connect to the flow of life (water)
– Group discussion to share our experiences and conclude the workshop.

The location Les Arends Forest Preserve, which is located West of Fox River on Route 31; immediately south of Batavia Moose Lodge, turn on Millview Dr toward the River and we will meet at the first shelter building that you see when you pull in the parking lot. More detailed location will be sent after signing up.

*** Please bring a chair to sit in for the river meditation , and a blanket or mat if you wish to lay down for the body scan meditation. ***
