Mindfulness simply means: being aware of the present moment, with a non-judgmental attitude.
It is an approach to life, which you incorporate in your every day living. It is more of an attitude and philosophy, as opposed to something that you “do”. It is a way of “being”.
It allows you to access what I like to call NOW-time, as it puts you into the ever-present NOW moment, so you can experience life as it happens.
It shifts your mind and attention from living in the past, or living in the future, to the Present Moment.
It’s an attitude and mindset that connects you to everything around you and enhances your experiences of life.
Dropping the judgmental attitude we subconsciously carry in us allows us to feel everything as it is, and opens us up to new ways of thinking and feeling that we may not have let ourselves experience previously.
Taking a Mindful Approach to all of life’s experiences can make everything you do become more significant, more fun, more full of wonder and happiness. Even negative experiences can be seen through a different perspective, allowing us to see the positives that come out of them, so we can grow and learn.

“This is the real secret of life – to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play.”
Alan Watts
